Wallet of Life

I never appreciated Math the way I do now.

As I was thinking about what to post on my first math blog, I thought of a symbolism that could relate to everyday life. You see life is like a wallet full of money. You open it and you get yourself surprised with possibilities and opportunities - you have the liberty to choose what to do with it. You close it and you close doors to the finer things life has to offer - you simply hinder yourself from exploring and discovering.

C'mon admit it, money is a key factor in everyday living. Our lives basically revolves around it and if we don't invest for a better future then we're unfortunately destroying our very own.

Maybe this is what Business Math is all about. Trying to educate us on how we should invest and thoroughly understand how to survive in this crazy world. We are artists and our money is in our hands, our crafts, our artworks - our ideas. If we don't know how to manage our lives then everything will be put to waste.

It takes time for investments to pay off. A great future takes a lot of risks and also a lot of courage to stand and fight for it. Just like earning money, you have to risk the joy of having to stay home and have the courage to stand and work.

Our life is our investment to our future. Don't be afraid to risk.
